[Once the stubby is next to the biped.]

[The stubby pours the oil onto the biped. It remains inactive. From a much higher vantage point, 9S observes the stubby and the biped, tapping on his holographic screens.]
9S: Doesn't matter how much oil you give him, little guy. You can't make a machine your brother.
[A distant rumbling can be heard. 9S puts away his holpgrahic screens and moves to stand up.]
9S: Well... looks like it's time.
[Incoming transmission from 21O.]
21O: Operator 21O to unit 9S. Come in, 9S.
9S: 9S here. Go ahead.
21O: The YoRHa troops have commenced their descent. Disable the enemy base’s defense systems immediately.
9S: Roger that!
Pod 153: Flight unit recommended.
[9S enters his flight unit and takes off into the factory, fighting machines along the way. Once he reaches the inner workings of the factory, 9S receives a transmission from 21O.]
21O: We'll need you to take down the enemy's defense systems to give our attack squadron a chance. You have four targets that need to be hacked. Be advised that hostiles have been detected around each target and must be defeated before continuing.
[Once 9S fights his way to the first defence system, he receives another communication from 21O.]
21O: The target is now accessible.
9S: Yeah, yeah.
21O: One affirmation will suffice.
9S: Fine.
[After 9S hacks the first defence system...]
21O: Hacking complete. Proceed to the next target.
[After 9S fights his way to the second defence system and hacks it...]
21O: Hacking complete. Proceed to the next target.
[After 9S fights his way to the third defence system and hacks it...]
21O: Hacking complete. One target remains.
9S: Man, this is a real pain...
21O: May I remind you that personal chatter during operations is restricted?
